Nathalie Cohn
Sculptor
Bio
Nathalie Cohn is educated as a ceramic artist at the Royal Danish Academy on Bornholm (BA) and in Copenhagen (MA). Finishing her studies in 2023, she is the last person to achieve a master's degree within the field of ceramics from Denmark. Cohn's ceramic sculptures explore organic, abstract forms in an interplay with the alchemical color mysticism of glazes. Engaging negative space, her works express life, movement, and the invisible forces that shape human existence, creating a balance between what is present and the absence that cannot be filled out.
Cohn has exhibited in renowned exhibition spaces in Denmark such as CLAY Museum of Ceramic Art and in several countries across Europe – alongside Danish top artists like Asger Jorn, Henry Heerup and Jørgen Haugen Sørensen.
